Buy with Confidence

Buying from Willow Gallery

Willow Gallery is a well-established business, having been trading solidly for over 30 years. During this period, the gallery is proud to have been elected to both the British Antique Dealers’ Association, and LAPADA, the Association of Art and Antiques Dealers. Both Associations operate codes of practice which aim to establish and maintain confidence between members and the public and are a reflection of our integrity and expertise.

Artwork Certificate of Authenticity &
Condition Report

Each painting purchased by the gallery is preceded by thorough research and due diligence, meaning that we are happy to provide an official certificate of authenticity if applicable.

Every artwork will also have been examined by our conservators with any necessary conservation work carried out, and a Condition Report can be provided by them on request.

Buying Process &
Delivery

Once a decision to purchase a painting from Willow Gallery has been made, the process is simple. Payment can be made by Bank Transfer in Sterling, US Dollars or Euros. Delivery and hanging is often undertaken by a gallery member within the UK. Paintings can also be shipped to any location worldwide free of charge, with only destination charges, if any, payable by the recipient. If the painting has been bought unseen and it for any reason fails to meet with expectations within seven days of arrival it can simply be returned to us. All we would ask is that the painting is sent back via FedEx in its original condition, using the same packing materials and then all monies received would be refunded. Although the client would be liable for the cost of shipping the painting back to Willow Gallery, it would be insured by us.

Aftercare

The gallery is also happy to advise on frame changes if required, and can advise on and supply bespoke lighting solutions if needed. We are also happy to provide help with insurance and anything else that our clients enquire about once the artwork is in their home.
